1901 Melbourne Town HallA beautiful photograph of the Melbourne Town Hall in 1901. The building occupies the north east corner of Swanston and Collins Streets and was opened on 9 August 1870, originally without the front portico, which was added in 1887. The architect was Joseph Reed who also designed the State Library of Victoria (1854), The Royal Exhibition Buildings (1879), Melbourne Trades Hall (1873), Rippon Lea Estate (1868), Collins Street Baptist Church (1854) and
