Size 45 (US Men's 11.5) - 1960s Hirvi of FINLAND All-Leather Cross-Country Ski BootsHirvi (Finnish for moose) was a Finnish sportswear maker that began operations in the 1950s. The company focused on running shoes, which were very popular, but also made ski boots. This pair is from the 1960s and is all leather with the exception of the heel. They are well broken in, so will fit your feet like a slipper. They were used in standard 3 pin bindings, but if you want to use them with those old wood skis with 4 pin bindings that you got

not even by the pros at Skifabrikk because we were scared we wouldn't be able to get them back in the box the right way

You will need to modify them yourself

Skifabrikk techs have smoothed the bases and to protect them applied a light-coloured pine tar that allows the grain of the wood and laminations to be appreciated

but the wax we're selling is for real

These skis themselves were the top-of-the-line for the time they were produced

with the distance between the bottom screw holes the narrower 27mm

we've never actually been there
