WHILE SLAVERY ENDED IN 1863 ON PAPER, IT ENDED PRACTICALLY IN 1873. AND EVEN TODAY OUR SOCIETY HAS US IN SHACKLES WHEN IT COMES TO OUR HEALTH, EDUCATION AND IDENTITY. THIS IS OUR STATEMENT.
