Sapphire Crystal on MatrixGreat sapphire crystal on matrix from Elahera Sri Lanka. This grey blue crystal is 4. 5cm long. Sapphire crystals of this quality on matrix are very rare and this specimen was in a private gemmological museum in Ratnapura that closed in 1999 . we were lucky enough to be there at the time and bought several wonderful specimens that we haven't seen the likes of again. a truly world class specimen at a very reasonable price.
