Lozi Container
Description
Lozi ContainerThis container was made by the Lozi people of Zambia. These containers with lids are hand carved with beautiful and distinct details and were traditionally used as lunch boxes to store and transport food. The lid handles are modelled into highly stylised figures, inspired by animals and forms found in the surrounding nature. The wood has developed a beautiful patina from years of use.
